Emergent Order

Percunia Ante Homines

The Iron Triangle

There is an iron triangle when it comes to healthcare: the demand for greater access, as quickly as possible, with zero cost. The senate had to drop a medicare expansion because it became obvious that the our federal governments license to print money does not imply that costs do not matter. I was overjoyed to hear that some cost controls were in the works until I realized that not only were they biased on the providers, but were also a bit too reliant on the ghost of congress yet to come.
